If you reside in Woodleigh, getting to amenities in the nearby Bidadari and Potong Pasir estates will soon get easier. This is because the delayed Woodleigh bus interchange is opening on 20 Apr, said the Land Transport Authority (LTA) in its press release on 3 Apr.

Initially due to be completed by 2021, the interchange was delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic and significant engineering challenges, said the Housing Development Board.
SBS Transit will manage the new bus interchange that is part of the Woodleigh Village integrated development and connected to Woodleigh MRT station on the North East Line.
LTA will amend Service 146 to operate from the new interchange and ply bi-directionally along Bidadari Park Drive. The existing bus service 146 will serve 4 additional bus stops.
Moreover, LTA will introduce new Service 148 as a loop service between the interchange and Potong Pasir. It will increase connectivity to amenities in the Bidadari and Potong Pasir estates. These facilities include Woodleigh Mall as well as the upcoming Bidadari Polyclinic.
New Pasir Ris Bus Interchange to open on 27 Apr
Those in Pasir Ris can also look forward to a new bus interchange that will open on 27 Apr. The Pasir Ris bus interchange is within an integrated development with Pasir Ris Mall.

Go-Ahead Singapore will operate the new Pasir Ris Bus interchange. All 17 bus services from the existing Pasir Ris bus interchange will move to the new interchange. There will be no changes to their routes or stopping points.
A shuttle bus facility operated by the Ministry of Defence for Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) servicemen travelling to and from the SAF Ferry Terminal, will also shift next to the new Pasir Ris interchange. It will include a designated waiting space for pick-up and drop-off.
Both bus interchanges have been designed with commuter needs in mind. They incorporate features catering to families, seniors and those with mobility challenges. These features include barrier-free access at key entrances and priority queue areas with seats at boarding berths.
The completion of the 2 bus interchanges will bring the total number of Integrated Transport Hubs across Singapore to 14.
As construction works are ongoing, LTA will work with bus operators to guide commuters along temporary sheltered routes connecting the new interchanges and the respective MRT stations.
