Food Content Writer Internship

We are always looking for great content writer interns in Singapore.

SETHLUI.com is looking for interns who are passionate about food, lifestyle and travel, and can turn their experiences and opinions into engaging stories. Strong writing matters, but so does photography. You’ll need to capture good-quality images that help tell the story, not just fill space between paragraphs.

The role involves attending events, conducting interviews, discovering new places and staying curious about what’s happening in Singapore’s food and lifestyle scene. You should be proactive, comfortable meeting people and willing to keep improving your work.

As a food content writer, you’re not just reviewing meals. You’re curating what’s worth eating, spotting new trends and uncovering places before everyone else does. Can you tell what’s genuinely gaining traction from something that’s already overhyped? Can you find a hidden neighbourhood gem that hasn’t appeared on every other food page yet?

You’ll also create social media captions and images as part of the role. Photos must be publication-ready, while articles should be properly formatted, fact-checked and written with clean grammar.

This isn’t a standard 9-to-5 corporate internship, and nobody will be chasing you to complete every task. We’re looking for people who are motivated, adventurous and disciplined, and who take their professional growth seriously while still enjoying the work.

What’s the culture like?

We work hard, but we also make time to enjoy the ride. Rather than treating work and life as two completely separate things, our culture is built around finding a rhythm that makes room for both.

This isn’t a standard clock-in, clock-out role. We’re a growing company, so we need people who are committed, take ownership and genuinely want to grow with the team.

And team matters here. We work together, support one another and take shared responsibility for the outcome. No lone wolves.
