Andaz Singapore is one of my favourite hotels to go to because of its central location in Bugis, and its many dining options, such as Alley on 25, Mr Stork, and 665°F, which all never fail to disappoint.
This Christmas, all three of its dining establishments are presenting a decadent and exciting line-up of events, activities, and food. If you have a tacky Christmas sweater, be sure to wear it to Alley on 25’s Ugly Sweater Christmas Party (S$148++ – S$188++ for adults) where you’ll not only be treated to amazing Yuletide delights like Prime Rib Roast Beef and Glazed Kurobuta Ham, you might also walk away with some great prizes. All of Grand Hyatt Singapore‘s five restaurants have something grand to offer this Christmas. Be it global favourites at mezza9 or eclectic local dishes at StraitsKitchen, there’s something for everybody.
My personal favourite is Oasis Restaurant, where you can enjoy a poolside dinner while surrounded by lush greenery. Tuck in to Barbeque Roasted Whole Tom Turkey With Apples & Thyme Stuffing, Roasted Mottainai Lamb Leg With Pomegranate Glaze, and Char-grilled Grass-fed Beef while knocking back a glass of red wine. And if you’re a seafood lover, be sure to go for its Char Grilled Black Tiger Prawns.
If you’re looking for something out of the box, celebrate Christmas with an Italian touch at Grand Hyatt Singapore’s Pete’s Place, which serves up rustic and hearty Italian fare like Italian Roast Turkey With Lemon & Rosemary and Tiramisu.

PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road‘s Spice Brasserie just finished its renovations and sports brand-new decor, just in time for the Christmas festivities.
Its Festive Buffet (starting at S$52 per pax, available from 20 Dec 2019 to 1 Jan 2020) is affordably priced and features Christmas favourites like Traditional Roast Turkey, and modern creations like Bone-in Gammon Ham with Ginger and Sarsi Glaze as well as Roast Duck with Burnt Tangerine Sauce.
If you’re not full from all the delicious baked and grilled dishes, Spice Brasserie’s Asian street food spread will definitely leave you stuffed to the brim—you can look forward to Indian specialities, Korean seafood pancakes, salads, charcoal-grilled delights, “teppanyaki” ice cream, and more.

Inspired by French haute couture, Sofitel Singapore City Centre‘s Christmas dinners at Racines and 1864 feature timeless French classics—just like iconic fashion staples that don’t go out of style.
Racines’ Christmas Couture Buffet Specials (S$158++ to S$168++ for adults) are only available on 24 and 25 December 2019 and include a full festive spread, Santa Claus appearances, and strolling carollers. Be prepared to be spoiled silly with Executive Chef Jean-Charles’ decadent festive ravioli stuffed with winter harvest truffles, and indulge in his signature pan-seared foie gras with kumquat marmalade.
Plus, be sure to try festive cocktails from 1864, which have been specially prepared by Head Mixologist Michael Mendoza. I’m not going to lie—just looking at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel‘s festive buffet spread made me drool. Its Christmas offerings start from as early as 1 December 2019 and can be found at Marriott Cafe, the hotel’s international all-day dining restaurant.
Its Festive Buffet (S$68++ to S$88++ for adults, S$35++ to S$44++ for children, available 1 – 23 Dec & 26 – 30 Dec) will definitely get you in the mood for Christmas. If you’re looking for a no-fuss Christmas dinner, Porta‘s intimate Four-Course Festive Set Menu (S$66++ per pax) is perfect for you.
Located on the first floor of Park Hotel Clarke Quay, Porta is a cosy and classy restaurant that serves up modern European cuisine. Its Festive Set Menu starts off with a hearty Vichyssoise with Hokkaido Scallop, which is a potato leek soup topped with avruga caviar and drizzled with herb oil. For mains, pick between the Black Cod and Beef Tenderloin.
Grab a piece of barbecued lamb rack and sit by the glistening pool with Cocobolo Poolside Bar & Grill‘s Festive BBQ Buffet, which is only available on six days: 20 & 21, 24, 27 & 28, and 31 December 2019, from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
Cocobolo is located on the second floor of Park Hotel Clarke Quay and is well-known for its grilled meats. For just S$78++, you can indulge in a hearty spread of festive favourites and barbecued delights, such as Paprika and Harissa Arrow Squids, Red Curry Spice Tiger Prawn, and Lamb Rack with Whole Grain Mustard.

10. Jamie’s Italian Singapore
It’s never too early to celebrate Christmas with Jamie’s Italian Singapore. Both of its branches—one at VivoCity and another at Forum At Orchard—will be dishing out Christmas specials from as early as 1 December 2019, all the way until 1 January 2020.
Jamie’s Italian Forum offers some great sharing platters, such as Black Angus Tomahawk (S$150.95), which is a giant 1.5kg slab of black Angus beef tomahawk that has been grilled to perfection. Give its Suckling Crispy Pig (S$148.95) a go—it’s an entire suckling pig that has been baked till crispy, and it’s served with potatoes, apple sauce, chilli sauce, and a rocket & radicchio salad.
If you’re dining in groups and would like a fixed menu, 3-Course Menus are available as well and cost anywhere between S$35++ per pax to $55++ per pax, depending on which menu you pick.

While Oxwell & Co is known for its fabulous drinks (including its Hendrick’s Gin themed rooftop bar), it has a smashing Christmas menu that’ll be available from mid-Oct all the way until Jan 2020.
I love Oxwell & Co’s festive menu because it is so communal, cosy, and inviting. For starters, be sure to get the Heirloom Tomato & Burrata (S$24), which is a zesty appetiser that’s drizzled with balsamic vinegar and pickled shallots, and Cured Salmon (S$21), which comes with sourdough bread, horseradish cream, and dill cucumber.
The delicious mains are affordably priced between S$26 and S$38, and you can pick between crowd favourites such as the Grass Fed Roasted Sirloin Of Beef (S$38) or exotic picks like Braised Rabbit (S$36), which comes with a creamy sauce.

You simply have to love Lawry’s The Prime Rib Singapore. From tailor-made plush wool carpets to customised crystal chandeliers and made-to-order dining chairs, dining at Lawry’s is such an indulgent, elegant, and grand experience that it proves to be unforgettable.
Its festive menus this year span across Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve, and are all astoundingly impressive, as expected. If there’s one menu you should try, go for its A Truly Special Christmas Eve 6-Course Set Menu (S$169/S$189 per pax).
The heroes of that menu are its mains: Signature Roasted USDA Prime Rib of Beef with Turkey Combo, which is carved right in front of your eyes from Lawry’s signature silver cart, and Broiled Atlantic Lobster Trio and Wild Salmon Roe, which is served with mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables, and drawn butter.

Mitzo takes traditional Cantonese cuisine and gives it a contemporary twist. This is reflected not only in its food, but also in its design—the restaurant is decked out in plush leather seats, eclectic and colourful glass screens, and is accompanied by an award-winning bar that’s known for its artisanal cocktails.
Located at Grand Park Orchard, Mitzo’s unique take on Cantonese cuisine can be seen in its festive menu as well. Pair your Christmas dinner with its limited-edition festive cocktail, Santa’s Roots (S$18++), which combines ginseng and cinnamon-infused bourbon, chocolate bitters, goji berry syrup, egg white, and pinot noir foam.
