Pronounced as ‘Da Feng Zhu Jia You Tiao’, it essentially means it’s nestled in someone’s house. A gem for over 23 years, the stall has garnered significant popularity among locals. There are even customers willing to travel down just for its legendary you tiao.

For RM1.50, you can get a crispy golden-fried you tiao. You might think that it is just a simple mix of flour and egg, deep-fried in hot oil. So, what makes the one here so likeable by the crowd?

First of all, you can smell its fragrance from afar before even reaching the stall. The you tiao is delightfully crispy, and its airy interior makes it easy and light to consume. Win!

The options are not limited to just that. You can also indulge in delicious ham chim peng, a Chinese deep-fried hollow doughnut, priced the same as you tiao. It comes with red bean or glutinous rice filling.

Additionally, you’ll discover a variety of fried items like Fried Shrimp Cake (RM2), Curry Puff (RM2), and Fried Rice Cake with Sweet Potato and Yam (RM3.50). For a more satisfying breakfast, consider trying the Mee Siam (RM2.30) and Nasi Lemak (RM3), too!

If you ever find yourself hanging around Taman Sentosa, don’t forget to visit this hidden gem.
