Want to experience more of Mexican culture instead of just watching Disney’s Coco on repeat? Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is back for their fourth year in Singapore on 3 November 2018.
The largest Day of the Dead celebration in South East Asia will be hosted in the F1 Pit Building and Outdoor area. Attendees can enjoy live music, performances, family activities and food and drinks.
The programme includes traditional Mexican storytelling by Valentina Oritz, mariachi (traditional Mexican folk music) performances and dance workshops hosted by both Mexicans and Singaporeans.
If you’re more interested in the heritage aspect, head over to the traditional Mexican altar to learn about the people and culture of the past.
Living up to the tradition, there will be a wide variety of Mexican and Latin American food. These include conventional bites, such as tortillas, tacos and churros, and even some off-menu item from Casa Poncho, Park Bench Deli and more.
If you want to immerse yourself in a different culture, then you won’t want to miss the Day of the Dead. Grab your friends and family, and dress up for an unforgettable experience!
