Burger King has certainly been on a roll with their speciality burgers. Given the recent Plant-Based WHOPPER, Burger King has certainly crowed themselves as kings of the burger game. Here’s another burger they’ve thrown into the gauntlet and is a returning favourite too: the Rendang Burger, and as an extra special treat the Double Ultimate Rendang Angus Beef Burger.
A true thing of beauty, the Double Ultimate Rendang Angus Beef Burger (S$12.50 a la carte) is a level-up from the much-loved Rendang Burger OG. With two juicy, tender Angus flame-grilled beef patties, topped with BURGER KING®’s signature, sedap rendang sauce and fresh onions, and as the cherry on top, strips of crispy turkey bacon nestled between fluffy corn-dusted sourdough buns.
I know, it does sound too good to be true. Hold on, it gets better. The first 560 die-hard fans who opt to upsize their Double Ultimate Rendang Angus Beef Burger meal via Deliveroo, from 9 July 20201 to 12 July 2021 will be handsomely rewarded with a Rendang Shiok Shake Up (U.P. S$5.20). A glorious cup size serving of up to six nuggets with fries soaked in even more rendang sauce, completely on the house. How wonderfully delicious is that?
If you do miss the special on Deliveroo, fret not, all these goodies are still available on Deliveroo from 13 July 2021. You can still sink your teeth into the Double Ultimate Rendang Angus Beef Burger or the return of the Double Rendang Beef (S$7.50 a la carte) and Rendang Tendergrill® Chicken Burgers (S$7.50 a la carte). Yes, Burger King and Deliveroo certainly know how to throw the best parties.
Wait, we have to complete the meal and you do that with the Gula Melaka BBT Green Tea Float (S$3.90), Gula Melaka BBT Malty Float (S$3.90) and the Gula Melaka BBT Sundae (S$2.60). And if you are still feeling peckish, the Onde Boleh Pie (S$1.80) filled gula melaka coconut encased in a crispy crust should do the trick.
