Look forward to their latest seasonal special: Saitama Yuzu Dream. A fluffy yuzu cake with Japan’s Saitama Prefecture. Expect to find bright and zesty flavours of Fann Wong’s latest Yuzu creation paired with a refreshing and tangy aftertaste. The Saitama Yuzu Dream boasts a delicate, airy almond sponge infused with specially-imported yuzu.

The bright, yellow-hued sponge cake exudes an intense citrusy scent, and is layered with a light yuzu mousseline and topped with a homemade honeycomb for natural sweetness and textural contrasts. Elegant curls of delectable white chocolate shavings are then sprinkled around the sides of the cake for a finishing touch. This delightful piece is truly a labour of love and a treat to behold.

Additionally, it’s been a lifelong dream of Fann to illustrate children’s book, and she is pleased to release her very first children’s book in Mandarin, titled 大声的棒棒. Inspired by her son, who is an avid reader of English fiction, Fann also hopes the book will pique his interest in Chinese books. The Taiwan edition of the book is available for Kinokuniya Singapore and Taobao in traditional Chinese.

The Saitama Yuzu Dream will be available for sale on their official website on Sunday, 25 March 2022 at 9.09am. Both Saitama Yuzu Dream and a copy of 大声的棒棒 can be purchased together for S$90, while the Saitama Yuzu Dream alone is priced at S$75.
