Fellow Singaporeans, you can look forward to another round of government benefits in Aug. From 7 Aug 2026, the government will be issuing up to S$850 in GST Vouchers (GSTV) cash to 1.5 million eligible adult Singaporeans.

This was announced by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) in a press release on 9 Jul. Check the following criteria to find out if you’re eligible.

Eligible recipients must be aged 21 and above and have an assessable income of no more than S$39,000 in 2025. This refers to your total annual income minus allowable expenses, which include employment expenses, business expenses, rental expenses and more, if applicable.
Additionally, recipients cannot own more than 1 property or have an annual value of home exceeding S$31,000 as of 31 Dec 2025. You may check your eligibility for this benefit at the govbenefits website after logging in via Singpass.
Wondering how to receive your GSTV cash payments? Sign up through the govbenefits website by 14 Jul 2026, and you’ll receive your payments in Aug 2026. If you’re eligible and signed up for the GSTV scheme previously, you will receive the payment automatically in Aug.
To receive your payment by 7 Aug 2026, you can link your NRIC to PayNow by 28 Jul 2026.
Besides that, roughly 710,000 senior citizens aged 65 and above can also expect up to S$450 of GSTV Medisave.
To be eligible for the GSTV Medisave, seniors must not own more than 1 property or own a home with an annual value exceeding S$31,000 as of 31 Dec 2025. The payments will be credited automatically to the recipients’ CPF MediSave Accounts.
Ready to receive your benefits? Don’t forget to sign up by 14 Jul, and hopefully, this wave of GSTV payments will be helpful in coping with the rising cost of living. For more information, check out the MOF press release.
