Finding hidden restaurants can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, yayy, sharing good food with more people. On the flip side, your favourite restaurants will be filled with customers drawn by its “viral factor”. If that’s the case, we’re guessing it won’t be long until Japanese restaurant Kojitsu Kitchen on Old Klang Road becomes a new Klang Valley fav!

Kojitsu Kitchen takes being hidden to a whole new level. In a quiet nook of Taman United, hidden behind an archway of greenery, this Japanese restaurant is known for being affordable yet offering a private dining experience of sorts.

Its cosy interior combines aesthetics and comfort to create a top-notch dining experience. The restaurant only opens on weekdays and requires patrons to make a reservation before dining.

Kojitsu Kitchen, which opened in 2022, offers a unique blend of Japanese cuisine and local flavors. Customers have raved about some of the chef’s recommended dishes on their Google reviews, with grilled saba mackerel with coconut rice and toppings, crispy grilled chicken and their signature mochi being widely applauded.

As the dishes are subject to the ingredient availability, make sure you check with the chef before you make your reservation.
