Have you ever wanted to try an actual honeycomb and ice cream at the same time? You can, now with Honeybee, which opened on 7 Jan 2023 in Capitol Piazza serving homemade ice cream with a lump of honeycomb and other toppings.

Honeybee - Exterior Shot

Honeybee is a Malaysian-based kiosk and cafe brand that first launched in 2020. Unsurprisingly, they specialise in incorporating natural honey into desserts and beverages. Currently, they have over 20 outlets in Malaysia with the majority of them being located in Johor. Locally, Honeybee has recently opened a second outlet along Haji Lane.

There are many ways to enjoy your honey treat, though it’d be a shame to not opt for their Ice Cream options. The best-seller is the Golden Honeybee (S$8.50), which we tried.

It was surprisingly not overly sweet, with the ice cream having a very light milk flavour. The honeycomb was also satisfying, giving a burst of natural honey sweetness as well as providing a nice chew. This is a certified jelak-free dessert!
