Whether you call it scones or biscuits, there’s no denying the excitement that comes with the recent launch of Humble Bakery on 4 Dec 2022 at One Raffles Place. Initially, Humble Bakery started out as a home-based business in 2021, followed by a move to a commercial kitchen and finally opening their own cafe.

Helmed by former Bakery Brera colleagues, the new Humble Bakery outlet will see the addition of another talented baker-partner who hails from a 5-star luxury hotel and renowned patisseries.

It will also feature new speciality bakes and cakes: Lemon Blueberry Humble Loaf (S$5) a fragrant lemony loaf cake with blueberries topped with tangy cream cheese frosting, Chocolate Chip Cookie (S$2.50) made with Belgian couverture chocolate, Brown Butter Apple Cake (S$8) that has layers of cinnamon spiced cake layers and brown butter cream cheese frosting and Strawberry Shortcake (S$8 for sliced, S$56 for whole).

One of its best-selling items, the Korean-style artisanal scones, remains available with the same rich and flavorful options such as Humble Original (S$3.50), Parmesan White Choc (S$3.50) and Double Choc Kaffir Lime (S$3.50). You can also opt for mochi-filled scones like the Orh Nee Mochi and Peanut Mochi at S$4.80.

If want something a little stronger, go for the liqueur cakes such as Tiramisu-Choux (S$8), Gateau Breton (Prune) (S$5.50) and Blackforest Cake (S$8.50 for sliced, S$60 for whole). Another crowd pleaser is the Vanilla Basque Burnt Cheesecake (S$8.50 for sliced, S$56 for whole) that uses four cheese and vanilla bean paste.
Pair these baked goods with aromatic coffees prepared by a barista such as Mint Mocha (S$5.50/S$6), Vanilla Latte (S$5.50/S$6) and Cappuccino (S$5/S$5.50). If coffee isn’t your thing, there are tea options such as Kyoho Oolong and South African Rooibos at S$5/S$5.50 which are specially hand-picked by the team to match the artisanal bakes.
