Looking for something to do this weekend? Jiak by the Quay is happening from 22 to 23 Aug 2026, from 3pm – 10pm daily. Jiak by the Quay is Clarke Quay’s inaugural food festival and will take place at Clarke Quay’s Fountain Square.

What’s a festival without good food? There will be over 20 food vendors at the festival. Besides food, there will also be workshops and live performances to enjoy.

For food, enter the Jiak Zone, which has 2 sections, First Taste and Festival Exclusive. At First Taste, restaurants from CQ@Clarke Quay will showcase special food items, some of which will carry over onto their regular menus. The list of restaurants includes Chupitos, Hanjip, Home Dawn & Dusk, Korio, Level Up, MìMì and Red House Seafood.
I’m particularly looking forward to trying Red House Seafood because their crab-shaped mantou is totally adorable!

At the Festival Exclusive section, there will be booths from Geylang Claypot Rice, Milkfish & Broth, Rangu, The Plump Frenchman, Wildseed Café, Elephant Grounds, Hippopotato, Outback Haus, Sweedy and The East Social.
I know I’ll be making a beeline for Sweedy’s booth; I’ve tried their delicious Fatacrons before, and there’ll be exclusive flavours such as Ondeh Ondeh and Kaya Toast at Jiak by the Quay.

Pawrents, rejoice! Your furkid will also get to enjoy the festivities at the Furry Feast Lane. Several pet-friendly brands will be present at the lane, including Bailey & Patch Café, Lunavae Pets, Mum Mum Gourmet, Providog and The Pet Provision.

Besides the food, there will also be workshops to attend. Simply spend a minimum of S$20 at any CQ@Clarke Quay outlets or Jiak by the Quay booths, and you can redeem a free workshop.
On 22 Aug 2026, there will be Pottery Painting by Clay Clay Pottery from 4pm – 4.45pm and 5.15pm – 6pm.
There will also be Edible Cookie Painting by NorthYeastLine from 6.30pm – 7.15pm and 7.30pm – 8.15pm. On 23 Aug 2026, NorthYeastLine will hold another session for their Edible Cookie Painting from 4pm – 4.45pm and 5pm – 5.45pm.
Lunavae Pets will host 2 workshops. First, their Pets Ondeh Ondeh workshop from 6.30pm – 7.15pm and then, their Pets Popiah workshop from 7.30pm – 8.15pm.
If you love free stuff like me, there will be a free photobooth available from 4pm – 9pm daily for some photo taking. There will also be customised canvas artwork by Khaitama D. Sun from 6pm – 9pm daily.
Best of all, there will be live sets from DJs on both days. DJ Valerie will take the stage from 7pm – 9pm daily. On 22 Aug, 4pm – 6pm, there will be a performance by Syakirah while on 23 Aug, 4pm – 6pm, Roseville will perform.
Don’t miss out on this festival full of food, fun and music! More information on Jiak by the Quay is available here.
