For the uninitiated, Jiak Song Mee Hoon Kway is a hawker stall started by ex-MasterChef Asia finalist Aaron Wong. After its successful Telok Blangah launch in September 2020, the humble mee hoon kway stall has since expanded to 5 more locations islandwide. Most recently, he has also expanded his menu to include 6 new exciting dishes.
If you are a big fan of spicy noodles, Jiak Song Mee Hoon Kway’s Mala Ban Mian (S$5.50) should be right up your alley with the addition of minced pork, pork slices and juicy pork balls.
Not a fan of spice? You can opt for the Tom Yum Mee Hoon Kway (S$5.80) which includes minced pork and fish slices or the Shabu Shabu Pork Mee Hoon Kway ($5).
Craving for seafood? The Seafood Mee Hoon Kway (S$6.80) comes with a generous serving of minced pork, prawns, fish slices and lala or the Sliced Fish Mee Hoon Kway (S$5.80) which has minced pork and pork slices.
Lastly, if you’re a big fan of pork belly, you are going to love the Braised Pork Belly Ban Mian (S$5.50). Doesn’t it look heavenly? And when paired with the fresh and chewy handmade noodles, this dish is sure to be an absolute delight.
Which dish are you most excited to try? The Sliced Fish Mee Hoon Kway has caught my eye!
