Psst… Westies, this one’s for you! As part of Jurong Point‘s 30th anniversary celebrations, there’s a food fair called the ‘Food Feastival‘ currently taking place on Level 1 till 7 Sep 2025. The gastronomy fiesta offers an extensive selection of food, with 35 stalls showcasing a variety of local dishes and international cuisines.

Tag along as we roam the grounds, sniffing out the gems that make us stop in our tracks. Don’t worry, I won’t be featuring the usual suspects like fishballs or tutu kueh, even though I’ll always have a soft spot for them.

What I thought were normal takoyaki balls in the cup from Fei Zhu Lok Lok turned out to be a single, gigantic orb that was topped with bonito flakes, takoyaki sauce, mayo, and rice krispies. Inside the tako ball, we found a combination of spicy Samyang noodles, a baby octopus, and a piece of prawn. The textures and flavours blew me away, and thankfully, the spice didn’t left me scrambling for a drink.

Having just watched the Demon slayer movie over the weekend, I was pleased to see Tanjiro and Nezuko figurines at the Ichigo by Tea Cottage booth. That aside, this place serves Signature Matcha Latte (S$7.90 for normal, S$9.90 for extra rich), the trending Stawberry Matcha Latte (S$7.90 for barista, S$9.90 for ceremonial), and interesting flavours like Mango Matcha Latte (S$7.90 for barista, S$9.90 for ceremonial) and (gulp) Durian Matcha Latte (S$9.90 for barista, S$11.90 for ceremonial).
The robust durian taste instantly exploded in my mouth, dominating my taste buds. It took a few more sips before I could detect the matcha‘s existence. Durian fans will cheer, but matcha lovers might be left wanting more.

Ichigo by Tea Cottage has also collaborated with Lao Ban Soya Beancurd to bring you a pre-launch exclusive Matcha and Hojicha (S$4.90 each) tau huay.

We recognised Mrs Banana from the recent Takashimaya Food Fiesta. Swing by for scrumptious Thai fritters including Thai Fried Banana (S$6 for 8 pieces) and Fried Pineapple (S$5 for 4 pieces).

Yes, Chong Qing Street Delicacy may look like they’re serving normal potato cubes and French fries tossed in mala-ish spices (and so I thought), until I gave them a go. Both the Wolf Teeth Potatoes (S$6 for medium, S$8 for large) and Crispy Wok Potatoes (S$6 for medium, S$8 for large) were delightfully crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with subtle hints of spice. I couldn’t stop myself from going back for thirds (not just seconds).

Over at No Time Hotpot, discover Collagen Hot Pot (S$10.80) and Mala Hot Pot (S$9.80) that are served in small cups. Add-on S$3 for crispy tau pok and a bottle of white peach oolong tea.

Those missing the Thai desserts at the now-defunct Golden Mile Complex can reminisce them at Baan Kanom Thai, which were the original vendors. Indulge in Thai Crispy Pancakes (S$7), Thai Pandan / Sweet Potato Pancakes ($6 each), and Luk Chup (fruit-shaped mung bean treats) (S$6).

Taste Bud Trent (TBT) sells JB’s popular Hiap Joo Banana Cake ($10 for 1 box, $18 for 2 boxes, $26 for 3 boxes), or you can mix & match with prawn crackers and milk biscuits if you want!
