Residents of Ubi are spoilt for choice when it comes to coffee shops in the area. Now joining this long list is one of Singapore’s largest coffee shop operators, Kimly Coffeeshop of the Kimly group. With their grand opening on 25 Oct, the inception of this new establishment will appeal to the young family crowds with new housing estates and neighbouring schools nearby.

With an abundance of coffeeshops across the island, the brand is adding to its reputable list with this new opening. Kimly Coffeeshop Ubi has a total of 10 stalls including beverages and with its unique interior pattern of white and yellow lights, it creates a warm and comfortable setting for everyone.

Jiak Mee - Storefront

Jiak Mee - Chilli Ban Mian

Starting the list of diverse eats, you might recognise Gen-Z-owned ban mian stall Jiak Mee as my colleague Celest visited their other outlet at Bishan Bus Interchange earlier this year. With freshly crafted noodles, you must get their Chilli Ban Mian (S$5.90) or Traditional Handmade Mee Hook Kueh priced at S$4.50 for the soup option or S$5 for the dry option.

Also making an appearance is Muslim-friendly Western stall Tenderbest, which is the only Western stall in the immediate area. Head down and try their signature Crispy Whole Spring Chicken (S$13.90) or their unique pastas such as the Udang Kering Vongole (S$9.90) and Bullet Pepper Seafood Spaghetti (S$9)— a nice addition to Muslim-friendly food options in the neighbourhood.

Zi Jia Yong Tau Foo - Storefront

Beauty Nutritious Soup - Hakka Lei Cha

For something more health-conscious, look no further than these 2 stalls right next to each other! Zi Jia Yong Tau Foo is serving fresh, handmade yong tau foo on the spot and will not be one to miss, where you can also savour their Old School Bak Chor Mee Soup (S$3.50). Next to them is Beauty Nutritious Soup for your under-the-weather type of meal. Check out their Hakka Lei Cha (S$5.80) for a delicious and healthy bowl of nutritional goodness.

Kimly Coffeeshop - Spread

So if you are in the area of Ubi, why not head down and check out the diverse food options that Kimly Coffeeshop offers? Do note that opening timings vary across stalls.
