Kit Kat Chunky‘s newest chocolate bars in the flavours of Lotus Biscoff and Popcorn have finally hit Singapore’s shores.

Available exclusively in 7Eleven, the two Kit Kat bars can be purchased at outlets islandwide for just S$1.95 per piece.

The Kit Kat Chunky with Lotus Biscoff was first introduced in the United States in May 2022. It combines the iconic Kit Kat chocolate wafer with the popular caramelised biscuit spread. The smooth and creamy texture, paired with the prominence of the Biscoff taste, makes this a treat that will be sure to satisfy the tastebuds of Biscoff lovers.

Meanwhile, the Kit Kat Chunky Popcorn was initially released as a limited edition flavour overseas back in 2021, and is now available in Singapore. This bar provided a more subtle taste compared to the Lotus Biscoff one. The mild saltiness of the popcorn enhanced the sweetness of the wafer and chocolate.

However, the flavour may be a little strange to some, especially those who may dislike the combination of chocolate and salty popcorn.

Kit Kat’s other flavours in its Chunky series include White Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Peanut Butter and Hazelnut Cream. They have also introduced other special limited edition flavours overseas, like Orange, Aero Mint, New York Cheesecake and Coconut. With so many exciting and creative flavours that have yet to be sold in Singapore, I’m excited to see what other flavours may be brought into our country soon.

Personally, I’d love to see special local flavours incorporated into Kit Kat Chunky’s chocolate bars. Imagine chocolate bars with flavours like Ondeh Ondeh and Bandung, how exciting would that be for Singaporeans?
