Cafés are everywhere—hidden here and there. Today, we found this hidden gem; located next to Kallang MRT Station at Geylang Road, the Knock Knock Café is a floral-themed café serving an array of Asian-inspired pasta and burgers.

Upon hearing its name, one would definitely be thinking of numerous ‘knock knock jokes’ however, for those of you who’s more in touch with the social media scene, the café is a spin-off of the Knock Knock Livestream app—a global community that encourages the creation of unforgettable live video content. Like the app, the café is a place for like-minded individuals to gather, work and network! All in the name of connectivity, right?

Once you enter the café, you will be greeted with a huge wall filled with artificial flowers and a neon sign with the café’s logo situated behind a large main counter. The place is surrounded by marble tables and chic chairs, giving the whole café a very soft and gentle aura. An additional touch to the place is their free high-speed WiFi and modular rooms which makes Knock Knock conducive for those of you who like to work from home (away from home).  Plus, the solid-coloured walls could also work as a Zoom background for your meetings! Win-win.

Enough of visual aesthetics and let’s get on to the main stars; the food! At Knock Knock expect the unexpected. On their menu, you will find Asian-inspired dishes like Por Por’s Har Cheong Chicken Wings (S$7), Chilli Krab Tacos (S$15), Just Like Grandma’s ‘Hae Bee HiamAglio Olio with Tiger Prawns Pasta (S$17), ‘Ga-Na-Chye’ Chilled Capellini with Smoked Duck (S$16), and various other unheard-of dishes that will definitely spark that curious-side in you.

Of course, if food isn’t your thing, you can bask in the ambience with a chilled drink or hot cuppa. They have a large selection of those too. If you’re a fan of caffeine, we suggest ordering yourself a chilled glass of latte as it also comes with an adorable coffee-induced and frozen bear or puppy sitting atop the foam.

They offer island-wide delivery via their website kkcafe.sg/order (for mobile), as well as via GrabFood and Foodpanda.
