Kopitiam is yet another eatery to join the ranks of F&B outlets introducing sakura-themed treats in celebration of the cherry blossom season. Kopitiam’s new Sakura Fantasy series includes two stunning pastel pink desserts: Sakura Jelly with Lychee (S$2.80) and Sakura Fizz with Lychee (S$2.80).
Sakura Jelly with Lychee features cubes of smooth pink sakura jelly and juicy pieces of lychee on top of what appears to be a bowl of shaved ice in pink syrup. Sakura Fizz with Lychee, on the other hand, consists of fizzy soda with sakura syrup at the bottom. Like the Sakura Jelly with Lychee dessert, this drink is topped with whole lychees.
Kopitiam’s new Sakura Fantasy treats look absolutely gorgeous and are wallet-friendly too. As someone who loves all things pink and pretty, I am excited to try these affordable yet beautiful desserts the next time I visit Kopitiam.
I have once again been pleasantly surprised by Kopitiam’s new offerings. In the past, I’d merely seen Kopitiam as just another food court in Singapore. However, over the years, they have wow-ed me with limited specials like their Chocolatey Toast with Kit Kat and Sweet Potato with Longan Soup. I look forward to seeing what other seasonal treats they come up with in the future.
