The founder, Perry Chen was inspired by the nostalgic flavours of the homecooked meals he had as a child in Taiwan. With this launch, he hopes to share this feeling through his mother’s comforting noodle recipes. To provide authentic flavour, the noodles, secret sauces and signature Lao Ma Chilli Oil are imported straight from Taiwan.

There are several special promotions to celebrate the opening. Until 14 Apr, you can sign up as a member (scan the QR Code above) and play the Lao Ma Maze Game.

Screenshot the winning page and follow the restaurant’s TikTok or Instagram to receive either a FREE Chicken Cutlet or a Taiwanese Soft Serve Ice Cream. Membership is free, and benefits include a lifetime 10% off all prices and a points collection system.

Lao Ma Ban Mian’s Grand Opening Promotion will take place from 15 to 29 Apr. An exclusive 60% discount will be offered off the signature Chilli Oil Preserved Egg & Meat Sauce Noodles (U.P. S$12.50, member S$11.25). This means you’ll only have to pay S$5 for the usual portion of noodles!

The speciality noodle dishes are made with sun-dried noodles from Guan Miao in Tainan, and crafted using traditional methods. They come in two kinds: wavy Guan Miao and straight Traditional Guan Miao. The wavy noodles are great for picking up the flavours of sauces and soups, while the straight noodles are bouncy and smooth.
