Who said healthy food can’t taste good? At the newly-opened Maisons Bowl, there’s much to look forward to when it comes to nutritious grub. It’s nestled in the far-flung ends of Sin Ming, but it’s not difficult to see why making a trip down will make all your hours and calories worth it.

As a purveyor of grain bowls, breakfast bowls, cold-pressed juices, and freshly-brewed tea, this new spot seeks to attract more than just the likes of clean diets and fitness enthusiasts. But if you’re struggling to keep to that New Year’s resolution of clean eating, Maisons Bowl might just be the perfect place to start.

Kicking things off with the Standard Bowl (S$9.90), this menu item is a build-it-yourself affair that promises a slew of ingredient and topping options. Choose from a quartet of bases like sushi rice or wholemeal pasta to go along with the rest of your bowl. If you’re looking for something a little lighter, then Baby Spinach or Cauliflower Rice are low-carb options to consider.

As for your proteins, choose from a heady trio of Chicken, Smoked Salmon, and Tofu. And now comes the kicker—you can choose six toppings to complete your bowl. There are Parmesan Cheese Crisps to add a bit of crunch to your bowl, or a Sous-Vide Egg to add a creamy, yolky finish to the bowl.

If the bowls aren’t your thang, then the Chonky Smoked Salmon (S$9.90) is one of Maisons Bowl’s toast options to spice up your brunches. Here, you get an enticing mix of smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes, pea sprouts, baby spinach, and a generous slathering of cream cheese to complete this nutritious pairing of bread and toppings.

Finally, the teas at Maisons Bowl are no slouch either. Expect an array of tea options, ranging from traditional variants like the Dong Ding Oolong (S$5.90 for hot, S$6.40 for iced) to more unique flavours like the Pandan & Butterfly Pea Green Tea (S$5.90 for hot, S$6.40 for iced)

With such an assortment of well-balanced dishes and comforting drink options, I reckon that Maisons Bowl would be a keen option for those looking to indulge in some guilt-free, tasty meals.
