This recipe goes out to anyone who longs for a tasty, filling meal but is either a klutz in the kitchen or simply doesn’t have two hours to bake mac & cheese in a crockpot. Here’s how you can make mac & cheese in a microwave in just five minutes, using five ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup macaroni
- 1/3 cup water
- Pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese

- A large, microwavable mug
- Microwave

Cooking time: 5 minutes

- Pour your macaroni and water into your microwavable mug, then sprinkle a pinch of salt.
- Microwave for 4 minutes, stopping every minute to stir.
- Add in shredded cheese and milk, and stir.
- Microwave for another 1 minute or until cheese melts fully.
