Take, for example, the Gili Bowl (S$14.90). This one’s an impressive amalgamation of fried chicken thigh, cucumber, cherry tomato, pineapple, red cabbage, bawang goreng, spiced peanut, and keropok udang. There’s a piquant kicap manis sauce that is slathered over the chicken here. I reckon that you’d be hard-pressed to find these unique fusion elements in poke bowls elsewhere.

Another one of MOAM Poke & Acai’s unique offerings is the Bora-bora Bowl (S$14.90). Here, a heady combination of fried ebi, sambal belado mayo, cucumber, cherry tomato, pineapple, red cabbage, pickled radish, furikake, tobiko, and keropok udang sit within each serving. It’s a refreshing change from the traditional inclusion of raw fish, where instead crispy battered prawns are featured.

They don’t just do poke. Açaí is the other speciality over at MOAM Poke & Acai, where each serving comes chock-full of açaí berries and topped off with a plethora of fruits. The newest addition to their menu is the Rio (S$10.90/ S$15.90), which presents a fruity mix of raspberry sorbet, açaí, cranberry, banana, strawberry, blueberry, dragon fruit, kiwi, cacao nibs, and cookie drizzle. It’s a bowl that is both visually striking and rewarding to the body. Get this if you’re searching for some guilt-free indulgence.

The impressive selection at MOAM Poke & Acai will entice the primmest of diners, making this spot in Beach Road one to check out.
