It’s rare to come by fresh oysters for sale in food courts and kopitiams, but Monster Chili has made this dream a reality. Located within Northpoint City‘s Bagus food court in Yishun, Monster Chili is a stall offering seafood dishes like oysters and grilled seafood.
Monster Chili offers four fried goreng dishes, each priced at S$5.80 for a regular portion and S$9 for a large portion: Sambal Mee Goreng, Sambal Nasi Goreng, Sambal Bee Hoon Goreng and Sambal Keow Teow Goreng.
To make things even more exciting, when you purchase one of the fried goreng dishes, you can add on fresh oysters for only S$1.90 per piece. What a steal!
Monster Chili also has grilled oysters in the variations of Sambal, Garlic and Cheese, which are available for S$8.80 for three pieces, or S$16.80 for six pieces.
Lovers of grilled fish can also look forward to trying their assortment of Grilled Fish dishes, in the following flavours: Lemon, Tomato, Fresh Green Chili, Curry, Simply Garlic, Asam Pedas, Sambal and Monster Chili.
For S$8.80, you will get a half limbo without tail, while S$9.80 grants you a half limbo with tail. If you’re feeling extra hungry, get the whole limbo fish at S$19.80, or upgrade to a seabass for an additional S$5. For those wondering what limbo is, it’s a type of catfish.
