Who doesn’t love the comfort food that pizza is, and when it’s elevated with a Japanese version, it’s pretty hard saying no to that. We sure do love our fusion cuisines. Domino’s Pizza is here to bring you the best of both worlds with its limited edition pizzas and dessert that’s sure to get you excited. I got myself ready to experiment with unconventional tastes.
Until 26 October, get a taste of the land of the rising sun with the Ebi Mentaiko (S$13.90) and Tori Mentaiko pizzas (S$11.90). These have the options of succulent prawns and smoked chicken breast respectively to wow you. You also get the much-needed umami kick from the creamy mentaiko mayonnaise that the pizzas are generously topped with.
When I dug into the Ebi Mentaiko Pizza, I immediately knew it was going to be a new favourite. I’m traditional with my pizza tastes, so liking it as much as I did was a surprise for sure. The prawns were so juicy and the cheese floods your mouth. The Tori Mentaiko Pizza was fun to try out too, but the former definitely did it for me more.
For the dessert, lovers of sweet and savoury pairings are in for a delight. Make sure to try out the Hokkaido Cream Cheese Fold (S$8.90): toasted, warm pockets filled with rich Hokkaido cream cheese and refreshing pineapple bits. I loved the tangy pineapple pieces within the creamy, sweet cheese. An interesting combo that worked out pretty well.
You also get to score some lucky deals in the process. As part of Domino’s Pizza’s one week Taiko festival, before 21 August 2022, your purchase of the new pizza also comes with an exclusive omamori sticker and a omamori card with a code to redeem a special surprise via the Domino’s Pizza website or over the counter.
It can’t get better than a golden ticket that guarantees a year’s supply of pizzas though, and that’s what 18 random winners will receive. An island-wide epic hunt is underway until 11 September 2022, where customers who purchase a minimum of one regular Mentaiko Pizza have the lucky chance to receive their pizzas inscribed with the figures ‘88’ in delish mentaiko sauce, along with the golden tickets. So what are you waiting for? Rush to get your well-deserved treat!
