Merdeka may be behind us, but the celebration of Malaysian identity continues to ripple into September, especially with Malaysia Day just around the corner. Riding on that wave of national pride, 2046 Cafe has unveiled their limited-edition Nasi Lemak Cheesecake, available only until 16 Sep.

Tucked in a leafy corner of Sea Park, 2046 Cafe is a Muslim-friendly hideout where modern minimalism meets homely comfort. The menu itself is a delightful mix of Western favourites and Asian cuisine — best enjoyed with the gentle hum of conversations and the greenery that softens the edges of city life.

The star of the season, however, is the Nasi Lemak Cheesecake. Imagine a frozen cheesecake infused with rich santan, crowned with all the familiar nasi lemak condiments like tangy sambal, crunchy peanuts, and the addictive saltiness of crispy ikan bilis.
It might sound bizarre, but don’t knock it ’till you try it!

Beyond this inventive dessert, the cafe’s kitchen has plenty to tempt every mood. Early risers can ease into the day with comforting Butter & Jam Toast (RM12) or a hearty Big Breakfast (RM32), while those craving something lighter might opt for the Berries Peanut Butter Sandwich (RM21) or Avo Mushroom (RM22).
Pizza lovers, on the other hand, can take their pick from the tropical Hawaiian Chicken Pizza (RM28), the fiery Thai Thai Pizza (RM30), or the smoky decadence of a Smoked Duck Pizza (RM32).

Their drinks are not something you can miss either. Such selections include Pink Lady (RM14) and Asam Girl (RM13) for zesty refreshing options, and Boring Sig Sig Latte (RM15) as well as Leaf & Coffee (RM16) for something dairy-forward.
With a menu this diverse, 2046 Cafe has something for every palate. But if you want to catch their Nasi Lemak Cheesecake, make sure you stop by before Malaysia Day. Like the season it celebrates, it won’t be here for long!
