Once upon a time, LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre was just another shiny mall in Kuala Lumpur. But these days, it’s doubling as a transportation hub, with LRT, monorail, airport shuttles — and now, a mobi-lity service that fits neatly in your pocket.

Meet mobi, a Japanese-quality Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) app by NADI WILLER. Already known for its mobi DRT (Demand Responsive Transit) vans zipping around Mont Kiara, KL Sentral, and Shah Alam, mobi has ferried more than 400K passengers to date.

The latest addition, mobi CONNECT, goes one step further. Launched this Sep, it links Mont Kiara directly to LaLaport with rides you can pre-book. Instead of wondering when your shuttle will show up, the app’s AI gives you an exact pick-up time and stop.
The app’s approach goes beyond convenience. Every ride is backed by meticulous fleet checks, real-time tracking, and AI-powered routing that makes journeys smoother and more predictable.
September rides are free, and from October onwards, fares start from RM8 — not bad for something that makes traffic feel like less of a daily battle.
How to use mobi in 5 steps
- Download the mobi app on iOS or Android.

- Choose your service — mobi DRT for short hops, or mobi CONNECT for the Mont Kiara – LaLaport route.

- Select your stops from the map or list.

- Pick your travel date, time, and number of passengers.

- Confirm and pay. Both Touch ‘n Go and DuitNow QR are accepted in vehicle. Before boarding, the app shows your driver, vehicle location, and exact pick-up time.
By blending Japanese-standard safety protocols, hands-on driver training, and tech-driven planning, mobi is a breath of fresh air for KL commuters. So the next time you’re heading to LaLaport, think of it not only as a mall but as your starting point to a full-day journey.
With LaLaport mobi in hand, you can hop between cities with ease. Now the city’s evolving transport future might just fit in the palm of your hand!
