Lobsterfest at Lime Restaurant in PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering is one of my favourite food events and I insist on covering it every year. Far be it for me to break my perfect streak for Lobsterfest 2025.

While they haven’t increased their buffet prices from last year, you can enjoy an exclusive 20% early bird discount on bookings made between 30 May and 5 June 2025. This makes an already incredible deal even sweeter, so don’t miss out on securing your spot for this year’s crustacean feast which goes on till 3 Aug 2025!
What I tried at Lime’s Lobsterfest 2025
They weren’t kidding around when they named it ‘Lobsterfest’. The event is a veritable cornucopia of lobster as well as crab, prawns and mussels. If there is a way lobster and other seafood can be prepared, the odds are that you will find it at Lobsterfest 2025.

Can’t you just taste the flavours of the fresh, tender meat and the zing of lemon from the picture above? Most diners ease into the experience at the cold seafood bar. This year, it features premium Boston Lobsters, Tiger Prawns, Black Mussels and Snow Crabs.

The other crowd favourite is the exact opposite of the cold bar— the wood-fired Josper Grill. If you like your seafood smoky and caramelised, the flame-seared Boston Lobster Thermidor and Grilled Marinated Rock Lobster will bring a smile to your face.

I was especially smiley after the Boston Lobster Thermidor, which turned out to be one of the 2 dishes that I believe tie for first place at Lobsterfest 2025. The beautiful lobster was topped with just the perfect consistency of melty cheese, and the lovely meat had the perfect bite. It was like being regaled with a million different flavours, all perfectly balanced by the most talented chef. Do you understand my smile now?

The title of co-winner of best dish at Lobsterfest 2025 must go to the Sarawak White Pepper Lobster. The buzz around neighbouring tables hinted at a star, and my anticipation soared as I prepared to dive in.
Premium Sarawak white pepper is nature’s pairing to succulent lobster. When the clean warmth of the spice meets the refined sweetness of the meat, the result is a mesmerising dish for the seafood aficionado.

Barely missing out on the top honours for me was the Lobster Claw Parmesan Wheel Risotto. It’s a returning favourite and a must-try for lovers of bold flavours. The short-grain rice picks up both the parmesan and the lobster well, so that each mouthful is a spectrum of delightful complementary tastes.

Another dose of tang comes from the Lobster Claw Masak Nenas. I was surprised at how well pineapple goes with lobster claw, and it’s an idea that I plan to introduce to my own cooking soon. With bright red tomatoes bringing their own zest to this savoury dish, it was a wonderful medley that showcases the versatility of lobster.

The XO Lobster Tobiko Fried Rice deserves a special mention, too. I enjoyed the presentation, with the pink handles of the serving container somewhat resembling the red pincers peeking from the rim.
Oh, but the real fun begins when the rich, earthy lobster flavours is married with the umami-laden XO sauce, and the entire mix is brought to textural life by the pop of tobiko. Fluffy and fragrant, the fried rice was the foundation that made everything work.

Peranakan specialist Executive Chef Alvin Leong’s signature touches are everywhere but I recommend the Signature Beef Short Rib Rendang and the classic Singapore Chilli Crab with Fried Mantou above the others.

If your stomach is capable of stretching like a gymnast, the luscious Lobster Laksa Noodles, and Chinese-style Rock Lobster with Glass Noodles are worth the effort, too.

Final thoughts

I am not the only one who makes the annual pilgrimage to Lime Restaurant for Lobsterfest— the place was packed and buzzing when we visited on its first day. It’s no surprise; they have kept all the perennial favourites that we love and added little delightful debutantes I hope will make a return when I am back next year.
