Great taste vs. great for you? Nope, it’s great taste and great for you at the newly-opened Pita Tree at Marina One! Just because it’s healthy doesn’t give it a pass to be boring, and you have to sink your teeth into their dishes to get what I mean.

This new outlet is an addition to the takeaway kiosk at Orchard Road. With the focus on offering freshly-made Mediterranean dishes, their extensive menu features a selection of classics.

For starters, a Mediterranean diet features a ton of whole foods while going lean on meat to reduce cholesterol levels. This is vouched as the best diet for a range of health goals, including weight loss, increased longevity, and agility.

Now to the best bit — the menu.

While a hearty meal of greens sounds like the go-to healthy meal, having some new inclusions up your sleeves is always welcome. Pita Tree’s menu offers delectable Kebabs, Mezze, Healthy Wraps, Pita Pockets, Rice Bowls, Salads, and more.

Not only are their Charcoal-Grilled Kebabs packed with flavour, but they’re also made with superior-quality lean meat, seasoned with Mediterranean spices and herbs, then grilled to perfection. Once you try their Grilled Lamb Kebab Sewer (S$17) and Grilled Chicken Kebab Sewer (S$15), there’s no turning back!

For a savoury and filling salad, you can opt for the Grilled Chicken Kebab Salad (S$12.90), Falafel Salad (S$10) or the Mediterranean Hummus Salad (S$11.90)

If you’re vegetarian, you’ll enjoy their Falafels (S$11.50) which burst with delicious flavours and Halloumi Cheese topped off with pomegranate sauce (S$12.50). And if you’re popping in at lunch hour, you may as well order one of their Rice Bowls (from $12.80 – $13.80) to find out why they’re such a hit!

Islandwide delivery is also available on Quandoo, Grabfood and Foodpanda.
