Playmade is a pretty household bubble tea brand in Singapore. From their riotous colours and flavours of pearls like their mala and Pokemon pearls, Playmate just keeps us on our toes with the endless possibilities with bubble tea. Well, one of my favourite renditions of their pearls would have to be their fun and bold Pink Cactus pearls that were both eye-catching and tasty.
Unlike those bright fuchsia pearls, this Playmade Pink Cactus Berries with White Boba popsicle has delectable blushing pink hue prepared to set both hearts and tastebuds aflutter.
Made with the pink cactus, or better known as the desert apple this native fruit of Penghu, Taiwan is known for that deep pink flesh and a mild floral taste. Each popsicle is a blend of pink cactus pulp, berries, milk and studded with Playmade’s White (original) boba. So, apart from the smooth creamy popsicle, there are also yummy chewy bits of boba which make all the more pleasurable. This sweet treat is just what you need, rain or shine.
