The modern-day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, milkshakes, and more, Shake Shack, will be opening its eighth outlet in Westgate. This will be the first outlet to be opened in the far West of Singapore, which says a lot about our obsession with fast food, huh?

As part of Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good®, this time around, they will be working with local artists that form the community. Shake Shack has partnered with Ink and Clog Studio, a local visual artist duo specialising in geo-graffiti, to create a mural inspired by the urban green spaces that are Westgate and the wider city.

The geometric forms resemble the architecture of Singapore’s garden city, while lines represent the organic elements of people and nature that habit the surroundings. Ink and Clog Studio brings to life the congregation of individuals, nature and the urban environment through design; a reflection of the community-gathering experience at every Shake Shack outlet around the world. From today, guests can swing by the newest outlet to catch a glimpse of “Geosystem”: a specially commissioned mural by Singaporean visual artists Inkten and Clogtwo—founders of Ink and Clog Studio. The mural is inspired by Westgate which represents a mini-metropolis with vibrant spaces for the community.
