Yet another fascinating food trend has surfaced and it’s one you need to see to believe.
Taiwan dessert shop Sowing the Sweets 耕者有其甜 is famous for creating adorable animal desserts, such as the puppy ice-cream which went viral for its cute appearance yet disturbing consumption process.
Now, their dessert Seal Cake (NT$390) is taking social media by storm, with yet another frenzy over the painfully cute slicing process which is highly Instagrammable.
It launches customers into a roller coaster of emotions, starting off with excitement, then leaving them in a state of confusion as the dessert is somewhat sadistically sliced up. Check out the video but animal lovers might want to give this a miss.
We’re curious to know what the bakers were thinking when they decided to create this range of aesthetically appealing desserts. Who would have thought of creating such pretty, edible desserts?
Well, the alluring process has spiralled its way to attract tons of customers to the flagship store in Taichung so we think this is definitely one marketing technique we can all take in.
They’ve also recently launched a rabbit-shaped dessert and we can’t wait to revel in more of these satisfying (or some might say dreadful) videos.
If you’ve got some budget to fly out to Taiwan, make sure you list this down on your to-go places!
