Some of us await every Starbucks merch drop like clockwork—knowing that if the collection or collaboration isn’t either already gorgeous, adorable, or functional, it sure as hell will be limited-edition. After all, we don’t pay good money for nothing. Athleisure fans and hypebeasts (man, I really hate that word) alike will find themselves pining for the latest Starbucks x FILA collection that makes you feel like you’re back in school, on the court, and on the way to meet Jenny for coffee all at once.
The crossover collab between everyone’s favourite siren and the Italian sportswear brand include drinkware, pouches, and bags. There’s the perennial reusable Cold Cup (S$34.90) that’s great for those who love sipping out of a straw but want to reduce their carbon footprint. There also exists the Double Wall Traveller Ceramic Mug (S$39.90) if you love your beverages hot, and the Stainless Steel Travel Tumbler (S$49.90) for those who like their temperature both ways.
To complete the whole tennis look, this Mesh Bag (S$55.90) will look superb with any high socks-donning, oversized pullover-wearing trend-setter. Plus, its roomy interior will accommodate anything from cameras and tennis balls to portable chargers and bottles of wine. So, daily essentials, really.
Perhaps my favourite of all is the Bucket Bag ($45.90) that’s decked in FILA’s signature red, navy, and white accents and is secured with a shoelace tie-closure that’s so cute, I need it like, yesterday.
The Starbucks x FILA collection will be available for purchase for all Gold members on 22 July 2021, but for everyone else who is not our colleague Nicole and doesn’t spend a third of their monthly salary on Starbucks drinks, we’ll have to wait a day later until 23 July 2021 to purchase the collaboration line.
