Ever since the 10.30pm alcohol ban was announced under the Phase 2 regulations, you probably realised that most restaurants started closing their doors early. As such, supper spots seem to be on a decline. Like me, if you are a night owl looking for a place to chill with friends over good food, newly opened Supper Deck might be your answer.
Brought to us by the same guys behind Toko Burgers & Cheesesteaks, Supper Deck is the new halal supper spot located at Bedok that opens until 1am daily (with the exceptions of Mondays). Here, expect to feast on an array of delectable local delights and international favourites.
Nasi Goreng Paprik (Chicken: S$6.90, Seafood: S$6.90, Ribeye: S$8.90) is one example of Supper Deck’s signature dish which founder, Syahirah, is particularly proud of. Sweet, sour, with just the right amount of spices, the Nasi Goreng Paprik is a gutsy, punchy, yet comforting dish that is perfect for a late-night supper treat.
Other mouth-watering plates include their Prawn Aglio Olio (S$16.90), an oil-based pasta filled with freshness from a mixture of shrimps and tiger prawns and The Eggstra (S$9.90), a stack featuring a tender grilled beef patty, topped with a runny sunny side up and turkey bacon. What makes this humble stack stand out is its sweet onion jam and spicy mayo. Creamy to a fault, the combination of both sauces elevates The Eggstra to a star on its own!
All the Burgers sold at Supper Deck comes with a serving of fries which you can choose to upgrade to Nacho Cheese Fries for an additional S$1, Beef Chilli Fries for additional S$2.50 and Onion Rings for S$2.
With such a wide variety of dishes and beverages, Supper Deck have options even for the pickiest eaters. Check them out during your next supper outing and let us know what you think of their food!
