Forget about going to Ya Kun or Toastbox to get your breakfast set – if you’re a fan of kaya and tea, you should probably check out T2 Tea’s Singapore Breakfast Tea. A blend of pu’er, green tea, coconut flakes and roasted rice, this tea is probably as close as we’re going to get to a drinkable version of our favourite kaya.

T2’s flagship store in Asia is located at 313@Somerset in Singapore, with more than 150 types of teas available including the Singapore Breakfast tea. Prices start at $15 for a box, comparable to the prices in T2’s hometown of Australia.

If kaya is not your thing, how about trying other unique teas like Fruitalicious, with ingredients like dragon fruit, goji berries, papaya and more?

I’m quite excited about the introduction of more unique teas in Singapore, and hopefully this means someone will come up with a cendol-flavoured one soon.

A love for food and video games, combined with a lack of motivation to exercise, is probably the reason I'm slowly gaining weight.
