Takagi Ramen invites you to drag someone down to hell with you this Halloween! Okay, not literally. They are instead having a promotion this month for a 1-for-1 Devil Lips Ramen challenge, ending on 31 Oct.
The name Devil Lips Ramen (S$8.50) should be a good guess as to what customers are in for but let me really stress how fiery it is. The ramen is packed with a ghost pepper sauce scoring up to 1,000,000 Scoville Heat Units. I’m personally too much a wuss for even bite so major kudos if you can lick everything clean.
It’s not over for spice enthusiasts yet. On 15 Oct, Takagi Ramen released their new seasonal menu called the “18 Levels of Hell” Mala Ramen series. Customers are free to customise the spice level from 1 to 18 for the Hellfire Prawn and Clams Seafood Mala Ramen (S$12.90) and the Inferno Pork Chashu and Sukiyaki Mala Ramen (S$12.90). You can really heap on a mountain of red if you like.
Takagi Ramen isn’t just trying to burn your whole mouth off, promise! A pair of cooling seasonal options can be found with their new drinks. The Bloody Talisman (S$5.90) and Divine Potion (S$5.90) are going to be lifesavers if you’re slurping down tongue-numbing noodles.
