“Let’s talk about your departure from the mainstream publishing world”, Zat asks. Dannon Har then chronicles his editorial journey from Straits Times as Digital Sub-editor to helming his own title, Spill Mag. He also runs his own home-based bar, Section D in Sengkang, which has flourished as libation lovers seek alternative drinking holes serving bespoke cocktails.

However, Dannon’s take on drinking isn’t a stringent one, as he shares his understanding of everyone’s varied palate from craft beers to non-alcoholic spirits. His flexible attitude has been part of the recipe for his successful home business, which currently has a drink minimum of two orders per person (to encourage guests to sit and mingle for longer).
