Are you a loud and proud foodie? Do you have a burning desire for all things food and want to let the world know? If your answer is yes to both, then I might have something right down your alley—tote bags created a la high fashion brands but with a unique, foodie twist.

At one glance, these black-and-white bags look like they are products of more commonly-seen expensive fashion brands out there—Lacoste, Balmain, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, the works. On second look, however, you’ll start to notice that they have all been brilliantly modified—Lacoste is spelt Lactose, Bvlgari as Bvlgarlic, Hermes as Hummus and Louis Vuitton as Louis Wonton.

It’s witty, it’s charming, and it’s the perfect accessory the next time you head down to the market for some grocery shopping. There’s nothing quite like flaunting your personality through what you wear (or the things you carry, for that matter), and nothing screams fashion and passion quite as much as these tongue-in-cheek totes.

Made with heavy-duty jute canvas and lined in a waterproof material, these bags are created to withstand the toughest and the dampest of wet markets. There’s also an inside pocket for better compartmentalisation, and genuine leather handles—so you’re sure to be the most fabulous shopper in your local grocery store.

The bag comes in two sizes—large and mini, with the large-sized one being able to hold up to 2-3kg of weight, while the mini-sized one can hold up to 1kg. These are bags for the one who’s serious about their food, and proud of it.

They currently retail at USD$49 for the mini and USD$59 for the large, excluding shipping. Though these may seem quite steep for a mere tote bag, these are not your regular, off-the-mill everyday totes. You’re getting quality, and on top of that, you’re getting style points. They are available for purchase at The Cool Hunter website.

Price: USD$49 – USD$59 (before shipping)
