Ever had cravings for halal dim sum around Somerset area, but to no avail? Soon, that’ll be a thing of the past as The Dim Sum Place will be opening its third and latest outlet at The Centrepoint towards the end of Nov 2022.
The Dim Sum Place opened in 2016 with its first outlet being along North Bridge Road. They serve a wide range of homemade Hong Kong-style dim sum with authentic Cantonese dishes and an added local flavour. And yes, The Dim Sum Place is officially halal-certified.
For appetisers, there are Deep Fried Fish Skin with Roasted Salt & Garlic (S$8.90++), Deep Fried Fish Skin with Salted Egg Yolk (S$10.90++) and DSP Cheese Tart (S$5.90++).
Some of the steamed options include Chicken Feet with Special Sauce (S$4.90++), Steamed Chicken Siew Mai with Shrimp (S$6.90++), Chicken Dumpling with Shrimp (S$5.90++),Char Siew Bun (S$5.90++) and Vermicelli Roll with Shrimp with Spring Onion (S$9.90++).
They also have fried food such as Deep Fried Chives & Beef Dumpling (S$6.90++), Deep Fried Spring Roll (S$5.90++), Deep Fried Siew Mai (S$6.90++), Deep Fried Beancurd Skin with Prawn (S$6.90++) and Deep Fried Wanton (S$6.90++).
If you prefer a complete meal, you can opt for Chicken Koo Loo Yoke (S$12.90++), Boxing Chicken (S$11.90++), Assam Fish (S$12.90++) and Stir-Fried Kangkong (S$9.90++). Be sure to add White Rice (S$1.90++) to your order.
There are also noodles such as Beef Brisket Noodle (S$12.90++), Duck Noodle (S$9.90++), Duck Leg Noodle (S$10.90++), Shredded Chicken Noodle (S$7.90++) and Wanton Noodle (S$8.90++). All the noodle items are available in both Dry and Soup.
