A modern take on the traditional Teochew-style spiral mooncake, the Thousand Layer Character Mooncakes feature a rainbow-coloured base crowned with a cute cartoon character shaped short-crust pineapple cake.

Available for order via the Instagram account, koala.tea.break, you can get your hands on these adorable mooncakes at S$10 for one or four for S$35. Choose between Black Sesame Paste or Red Bean Paste for your mooncake filling and add S$2 per mooncake for an indulgent Salted Egg Yolk centre. 

The best part of these Thousand Layer Character Mooncakes is the possibility to customise your own designs! If Sanrio characters and sleeping unicorns are not up your alley, feel free to discuss with Koala Tea Break to come up with something unique and beyond our imagination. 

These mooncakes are freshly made upon order and prepared in small batches. Thus, orders must be placed at least three days in advance. Limited batches are accepted daily, so hurry place your orders to avoid any disappointment.
