I’m a lover of Hainanese beef noodles. The combination of tender beef, noodles and sticky gooey sauce always gets to me— it hits the sweet spot for my taste buds every time! If you’re a fan of this dish, you must check out Tok Tok Beef Soup which officially opened for business on 27 September 2022 at Asia Square Tower 2— great news for those working in the CBD area!

Traditionally, Hainanese beef noodle stalls offer noodle options like thick bee hoon and kway teow. Over here, they offer customers the choice between kway teow, plain rice, ban mian and la mian.

They have five choices for their beef noodles (every type comes with braised tendons thrown in the mix), which are Sliced Beef Noodle Soup (S$10.90), Beef Cheek Noodle Soup (S$13.90), Beef Ball Noodle Soup (S$10.90), Beef Short Rib Noodle Soup (S$14.90) and Ultimate Trio Beef Bowl (S$16.90) (which has beef cheek, short rib, beef balls, sliced beef and braised tendons all in one)— you’ll need to have a huge appetite for this.

Tok Tok Beef Soup’s chilli dip is a zestier version of Hainanese chicken rice chilli. They’ve added calamansi peel to lessen the richness of the broth— simply irresistible!

Truffle Konbu Sweet Potato Fries (S$4.50) is available for those feeling peckish for an after-meal snack.

You can also choose to have a complete meal with your noodles by adding S$3.50 for a set which includes sweet potato fries and a drink, or add another S$1.50 to change the sweet potato fries to the truffle konbu.

If you’re a person who loves mala, they even have an add-on Mala Flavoured Soup (+S$1) option.
