This restaurant’s pride lies in presenting a delightful selection of tantalising beef cuts, perfectly complemented by their carefully crafted homemade noodles that are free from any artificial additives.
Beyond their mouthwatering noodles, they have something even more extraordinary in store for you: the beef hot pot. 10. Yuan Laosi Hotpot (CC-29)
Yuan Laosi Hotpot is a Chong Qing style hotpot restaurant at Tropicana Gardens Mall that will satisfy all mala lovers’ cravings. Beautifully decorated, Yuan Laosi is grand and spacious with ample tables to accommodate their growing customer base. Complete with the option for a slightly more private booth or more open dining experience, Yuan Laosi even has you covered with private rooms for functions which come complete with a Karaoke setup. Yuan Laosi gives you the option to go for a single, double or triple soup base (~RM50 for any option).
Based on Google reviews, all 3 soup bases are tasty and well-flavoured without any sense that excessive MSG was used in the making. For those who enjoy spice, diners have recommended going for the spiciest level as they found the medium spicy option to be a bit lacking. In terms of the meat options here, the recommended signatures are fresh frogs, duck intestines, duck gizzards and meatballs.
