There is no denying how much food is at the centre of every relationship. Be it romantic or otherwise, a good meal with the people you love is perhaps the epitome of time well-spent. Seeing as one of the most romantic (and commercialised) days are upon us, let’s not have any petty fights about deciding where to eat and use this list of 10 restaurants for a romantic Valentine’s Day instead. Whether it’s a date with your partner, a girlie Galentine’s dinner, or quality time with the bros, we have got you covered. Love always wins, especially on a full stomach.
At Andaz, it’s all about those gorgeous views. Although the best view might be seated right across from you (That’s a line you’ll want to keep for later). Located on the 25th floor of Andaz, Alley on 25 is where you can sink your teeth into a scrumptious four-course Valentine’s Day Menu (S$98 per pax) as you sip on a welcoming glass of Prosecco.
You can then tell your partner how much you appreciate them over the Lobster Salad and Oven-baked Atlantic Salmon that’s served with a decadent Avruga caviar beurre blanc sauce. If not, you can always opt for the Chargrilled Cape Grim Angus Tenderloin accompanied with a light-as-air pomme puree.
Take your romance to new heights with rooftop steakhouse 665°F. With breathtaking views of the skyline, this is where you and your sweet need to be. A specially curated three-course Valentine’s Day Lunch (S$150 per pax) or a four-course Valentine’s Day Dinner (S$188 per pax) by Chef de Cuisine Wan Azhari will leave you swooning.
Look forward to the Yukon Gold Potato And Leek Soup topped with Kaluga Queen Caviar as a starter. Then, have your pick between the indulgent Boston Lobster Ravioli or the juicy Australian Beef Tenderloin. Either way, you know you’re in for a good time.
Romance hits its peak at Mr Stork, where you can go for a Romance Teepee Experience (S$300 per couple) that comes with a dreamy, snug rooftop teepee hut that you can cuddle with your partner from 5pm until closing. There in your little bubble, nibble on Andaz’s signature platter of savouries and sweets, while you wash it on with a bottle of decadent Billecart-Salmon Rosé Champagne.
If not, the Cupid’s Table Experience (S$350 per couple) with the same dinner menu is sure to earn you some major brownie points. What’s more, you’ll get to walk home with two 100ml Bespoke Hendrick’s Midnight Summer Solstice Gin cocktails—what a night indeed.

So, you can’t book a romantic getaway to Europe this year. No matter, the tantalising Modern European fair at Porta would do just quite nicely. We have our hearts set on Porta’s four-course Cupid Menu (S$64 per pax) that features a velvety Purple Potato Soup followed by an exquisite Chilled Angel Hair Pasta with a lovely ensemble of ikura, crabmeat, and kombu.
No Valentine’s Day meal is complete without a perfect plate of medium-rare Angus Ribeye accompanied by pomme mousseline, crunchy garlic sprouts, and a silky red wine sauce.
For our seafood lovers, dig into the Norwegian Salmon fillet sitting atop a creamy avocado purée, tart cherry tomatoes, and crisp tendrils of pea shoots. Finish your meal with a divine Chocolate Hazelnut Praline that is sure to make your time together just as sweet.
A note to all the lovers out there, Porta has two seatings, the first one at 6-pm and the second at 8.30-pm.

3. The Seagrill Changi Beach
When it comes to romance, nothing says ‘I love you’ like a dinner with a view at The Seagrill Changi Beach. With their 2021 Valentine’s Day Menu (S$55++ per pax) you’ll be soaking the sights of Changi Beach and enjoying a fantastic meal as well.
This four-course meal is sure to prove for an enchanting evening with starting with Angel Hair Pasta With Soft Shell Crab that is sure to twirl its way into your heart. If not, go with something lighter such as the Garden Salad With Avocado Topped With Oven-Seared Breast.
Choose between the Grilled Red Snapper Fillet With Herbed Cream Sauce and Sesame Fleuron, Grilled Pork Tenderloin With caramelised Apples or the Sauteed Spring Vegetables With Roasted Bell Pepper Sauce and Grilled Polenta Cake for your main course.
End your meal with a crowd favourite of Chocolate Brownies With Chantilly Cream and Berries.
For you lovebirds taking notes, The Seagrill Changi Beach is open from 12 to 14 February 2021, with their Valentine’s Day Menu available on the 14 February 2021 from 5pm to 9pm.
4. Cuba Libre Frasers Tower
This season, spice up your Valentine’s Day with Cuba Libre Frasers Tower with a Latin-American inspired 4-course Valentine’s Day Menu for S$45++ per pax. Curated by Executive Head Chef Alex Moreno, luxuriate in new creations such as Cuba Libre’s Seafood Bisque or the rather sinful Montaditos of Iberian Loin and Serrano Ham.
For your mains, have your pick between the Ossobuco With Red Wine Reduction, or the Red Tuna With Seared Ahi. When it comes to matters of the heart, we don’t leave anyone out. Chef Alex has included vegetarian options that still promise those big flavours such as the Chef’s Kale Salad, Impossible(™) Baked Meatloaf, Mushroom Lentil and Nut Wellington.
To make the night a truly unforgettable one, couples can choose to add on a bottle of Sara’s New Zealand Rosé, a 90 points rosé for S$55++. A love story in itself, this bottle was crafted in honour of the vineyard owner’s wife, all the more reason to have rosé, I’d say.
5. Lawry’s Prime Rib
All you need is love and Lawry’s The Prime Rib this Valentine’s day. Have a grand evening celebrating your love with their Valentine’s Day 7-Course Set Dinner Menu at S$189 per pax on 14 February 2021.
Your lavish meal begins with an amuse-bouche of Jumbo Shrimp With Homemade Salsa Sauce, followed by a romantic orchard of Japanese Octopus Salad.
For your mains, choose between the restaurant’s namesake of Signature Roasted USDA Prime Rib of Beef that has been aged for up to 28 days or the hearty Pan-seared Goose Foie Gras With Chicken Stew. Either way, you’re in for a good time.
Then, indulge in the decadent Strawberry Yuzu Mousse or the classic Red Velvet Valentine’s Cake. End your evening on a high with either of Lawry’s Valentine tipples such as the Cupid’s Arrow and Steady on the First Date.
For every pair of Valentine’s Day Menu ordered you’ll receive a complimentary bottle of Piccini Prosecco (750ml) to commemorate the evening. To add to the fun, little cupids will be flying around the restaurant throughout the night to capture your intimate moments that will be sent to you as a digital photo.
The love doesn’t stop there; you’ll also get a S$50 Return Dining Voucher with every bill. As the cherry on top, enjoy 10% off Lawry’s Valentine’s Day Dinner Menu when you place your deposit before 8 February 2021. After all, love is a many-splendoured thing, especially with a well-placed discount.
6. il Cielo
They say that the Italians know romance best, which is why il Cielo with its semi-alfresco dining ranks as one of the most romantic places in Singapore. Helmed by Resident Chef Yohei Sasaki, this Valentine’s Day menu features the best of modern Italian cuisine with a unique Japanese flair.
For Valentine’s Day lunch, you can choose between the Three-Course Lunch (S$118) or Four-Course Lunch (S$148). Savour dishes such as the Anguilla e Foie Gras alla Rossini, a luxurious combination of Japanese eel, foie gras, Shimonita Negi (white onion), and topped off a shower of black truffles.
For dinner, have your pick between the Five-course Dinner (S$168) or the Six-course Dinner (S$188) with mains such as the Baccala e Tartufo Nero or the Arrosto di Cervo. I know, names you can’t really pronounce but will sit well in your tummy. Do note that the Five-course Dinner is also available on 13 February 2021, if you want to celebrate your love little earlier.
Sometimes romance doesn’t have to be an overcomplicated affair. French-Italian bistro Eleven Strands ditches the bells and whistles and keeps things simple and classic with a 5-Course Valentine’s Day Menu (S$90 per pax). Begin with an array of crowd-pleasers such as the Truffle Mushroom Ragout, Pan Seared Hokkaido Scallops and Prawns, and Pan Seared Foie Gras with Apples to sufficiently whet your appetite.
For the mains, my money is on the poultry. Exciting dishes such as the Duo of Irish Duck and the Pan Seared French Quail has me giddy with anticipation. Afterwards, a Deep Red Plum and Apple Crumble is the way you want to round out your evening at Eleven Strands.
Do note there are two slots for Eleven Strand’s Valentine’s Day dinner, one at 6pm and another 8pm.
The only thing that can make a day of romance even better is a sentimental walk down memory lane. Tablescape’s Valentine’s Day Degustation Menu (S$168++ per couple; S$198++ per couple with two glasses of Champagne; S$268++ per couple with a bottle of Champagne) is a playful menu takes you through all the highs and lows of your relationship.
Like any good meet-cute, it starts with the Discovery of someone great. Here you have a French brandade, made with black cod whipped into a creamy emulsion, zingy lemon, and crispy squid ink polenta for that elusive spark. Things start to pick up with the First Meeting where you’ll be acquainted with a poached lobster crowned with foie gras and caviar.
Well, I don’t want to give the whole story away but know that it ends with a raspberry chocolate dessert named Fall in Love—which, I hope by now that you are indeed in the throes of passion. This menu is available from 10 to 14 February 2021, so grab your significant other and have a fun time reminiscing over Tablescape’s spread.
It’s true, we do have many romantic restaurants in Singapore, but FLUTES at the National Museum of Singapore takes the cake. Lauded as one of the most romantic restaurants in Singapore, this where you’ll want to take your paramour to declare your undying affections.
Aptly named Dining with my One and Only, take bae for a glorious lunch going for S$288++ per couple with the likes of a refreshing Shark Bay Blue Swimmer Crab Salad, Panko Ben Pethick’s Abrolhos Islands Dhufish, and Rangers Valley Wagyu Striploin.
There are two seatings for dinner, the first seating at 6pm serves the same excellent spread as lunch. In contrast, the second seating at 8.45pm, priced at S$358++ per couple comes with a more opulent assortment of dishes that includes the Chef’s Signature Canape Selection of Mushroom Vol-au-Vent with Soft Boiled Quail’s Egg, and Truffle Smoked Haddock Croquette.
After a meal of such superb calibre, that’s how you know you are indeed loved.
10. The Halia
Tucked away in the lush Singapore Botanic Gardens, The Halia is where you can whisper sweet nothings to your beloved amidst all the verdant greenery. The Halia makes time for all the lovers with three seatings on the 14 February 2021 at 5pm, 7pm, and 9pm.
Like with all things in a relationship, what’s mine is yours and what’s yours in mine. Have the Couple Sharing Menu at S$260++ or top it up a little more at S$290++ for unobstructed views of the garden. For an Instagram-worthy pan that’s worth everyone turning green with envy, I’d say spring for those unobstructed views.
With a menu consisting of Goats Cheese Mousse, Organically Organically Farmed Lacto Chicken Breast, and Slow Roasted Blackmore Rump Cap—it will be a dream of an evening.
For the ultimate quadruple date, have a Premium Valentine’s Day Dinner at The Villa available on the 13 &14 February 2021.
