The owners of ROYZ et VOUS launched a new halal cafe at Bussorah Street over the weekend. Waffle Place isn’t your ordinary waffle house as they serve delicious halal premium waffles along with soft serves, handcrafted blends, teas, and speciality coffee.
Now, we all know waffles are versatile; you can have them for brunch, dinner, tea or supper, and there are all kinds of waffles—sweet and savoury—to satisfy your every need. And that’s what the Muslim-owned cafe intends to do—to serve you with a delectable spread of waffles to continue their pride in serving flavourful dishes to their customers.
Expect to find savoury options like the Har Cheong Gai Chicken (S$13.90)—crispy waffle topped with fried HCG boneless chicken leg, fried egg, coleslaw, and sriracha maple.
If you love your desserts, you can find the Banana Split (S$14.90 for waffle, S$6.90 for glass cup, S$5.90 for cone). Essentially a cereal-infused cream with caramelised banana, cornflakes, and funfetti topped with vanilla and dark chocolate swirl soft serve atop a base of your choice.
They also serve signature earl grey tea mocktails, handcrafted blends that are based on espresso, teas by the pot and various kinds of hot and cold beverages that can traditionally be found in cafes.
With a menu as extensive as theirs, I’m pretty sure one visit will not be enough to satisfy your cravings. What’s more, from now until 30 June 2022, all customers will receive a 10% discount voucher when you dine at Waffle Place, and other sister eateries like, ROYZ et VOUS, Indobowl and Pancake Place.
