Why settle for the same old chicken wing flavours when you can get something more innovative? Winglicious is a stall within an Ang Mo Kio coffeeshop that opened on 23 June 2022, offering unique chicken wing flavours that are not commonly found elsewhere in Singapore.

Located within the La Kopi coffeeshop in Ang Mo Kio, Winglicious offers four chicken wing flavours: their Signature Wings, Sweet & Spicy Wings, Salted Egg Wings and Pork Floss Wings. Six pieces of wings are priced at S$8 while 12 pieces come in at S$15.

I am especially interested in the Pork Floss Wings, which come covered in fluffy savoury pork floss. I have never seen a combination like that anywhere else, and I will definitely order this if I visit Winglicious.

The Salted Egg Wings, topped with curry leaves and chilli, also intrigue me as I love all things salted egg and I don’t often see salted egg chicken wings in coffeeshops and hawker centres.

Aside from chicken wings, Winglicious also sells potato salads, priced at S$5 each. The classic Bacon Ham Potato Salad is topped with crunchy bacon bits, while the Tobiko Ham Potato Salad comes with bright orange tobiko topping.

You can also order french fries at Winglicious. Their Original Fries come in at S$4, and if you’d prefer fries that are a little more zhng-ed up, go for their Truffle Fries or Cheesy Fries, which cost S$5 each.

I love seeing coffeeshop stalls and hawkers come up with new and creative dishes and flavours, so Winglicious has certainly piqued my curiousity and earned a spot in my to-visit list. Maybe in the future, we may see even more interesting flavours added to their menu!
