Their new dish, Royal Flush Seafood Curry Fish Head Pot, is exclusive to the Jalan Sultan outlet. The fish head curry arrives simmering in a huge pot with prawns, sotong, eggplant and tau kee, creamy and spicy. For such a large portion, the 50% discount is well worth your money and perfect for the rainy holiday season.

While you’re at it, do try some of Yu Cun’s other interesting dishes as well. Chilled Sweet and Sour Pork (S$17.90 for S, $S30.90 for L), for instance. While such a dish is usually served hot, Yu Cun’s comes with ice, to keep the batter on the freshly fried pork crispy. The Flaming Red Wine Pork Ribs (S$22.90 for S, S$40.90 for L), on the other hand, are served burning hot, literally.

Yu Cun seems to be testing the limits of their creativity with Jalan Sultan. Cookies and Cream Cheesy Chicken (S$17.90 for S, $30.90 for L) is a name bound to leave many scratching their heads. It is, in fact, an actual dish of fried chicken drizzled with cheese sauce and covered in cookie crumbs. You might be able to handle the curry’s spice, but can you conquer this?

What are you waiting for? Call your friends and family. Head down to Yu Cun in Sultan Gate before 17 Dec for the best seafood curry fish head at only half price.
