Your imagination seems to be the only thing hindering the endless possibilities of what could be when it comes to food.

Generic flavours are a bore while whacky ones tend to be a flop. But what seems to work with our hard-to-please nature is local flavours. Cue the Chee Cheong Fun ice cream or the B.C.M Sandwich.

But what about Kit Kat with a local twist? We know they recently came up with the naturally pink Ruby chocolate (which we loved), and we know of the exotic wasabi or intriguing sweet bean jelly-flavoured Kit Kat available elsewhere in the world.

Yet, nothing will beat a uniquely Singapore edition of the chocolate.

The Kit Kat Chocolatory pop-up store that will be at VivoCity Level 1 Concourse from 8 to 14 April 2019 has created quite a buzz amongst netizens on their Facebook page. They’ve been teasing the nation with exciting local flavours infused into their well-loved Kit Kats like Singapore Chilli Crab, Kopitiam Breakfast and Salted Egg Yolk.

Heading down for a taste test seems to be the only way you’re going to find out how it’s possible (or not) to pack flavours of eggs, kaya toast and kopi into a single bar of chocolate.

Dates & Times: 8 to 14 April 2019, 10am – 10pm

Prices: S$7.50 per box
