Coffee and chocolate are some of the essentials in my life and I need to have some almost every day to sustain me. Imagine my delight when I realised Cadbury has launched a new limited edition coffee flavoured chocolate!
Of course, I had to get my hands on them to try them out.
As I peeled open their iconic purple wrapper and gold foil gingerly, I realised the chocolate cubes were smaller than the usual. Portion control perhaps? I could also smell the aromatic coffee, which heightened my expectations.
Indeed, this new creation was a perfect marriage of chocolate and coffee. It had the same creaminess of Cadbury’s milk chocolate, with a distinct touch of coffee. Sweet and fragrant, I was glad it still wasn’t overwhelming.
The balance between the chocolate and coffee was perfect, which resulted in me finishing the entire packet in one sitting. Looks like the portion control attempt did not work for me, oops.
I’m not proud of that, but that’s a testament to how good it was. If you’re a fan of Cadbury’s chocolate, coffee or otherwise, I highly recommend you to head down to your nearest supermarket to try it. You won’t regret it!
