That’s right folks, Auntie Anne’s is officially halal-certified in Singapore! If you’ve always found yourself making countless trips across the border to get yourself a pretzel fix from popular the popular pretzel chain, you don’t have to worry no more.

For the uninformed, Auntie Anne’s started out in Pennsylvania and have been around for over 30 years. Their pretzels are handmade with love—made from scratch, hand-rolled, and freshly baked daily. A selection of egg-free and dairy-free flavours are also available for those with dietary restrictions. Additionally, their beverages are made from fresh ingredients sans syrup or flavouring.

Their freshly baked goodies that many know and enjoy today first came to Singapore in 1996, and there are about eight kiosks islandwide. It may have taken them over 20 years to get their halal certification but they finally did it.

To celebrate this milestone, they will also be giving away a free Cheezy Turkey Pretzel on 6 December 2021 to 10 lucky winners who participate in their Facebook or Instagram contest.

As the borders to our favourite Ramly burger-selling neighbours are still closed, our Muslim friends can now satiate their pretzel-loving cravings at any of their eight outlets: Parkway Parade, Plaza Singapura, Nex, Paya Lebar Quarter, Jewel Changi, VivoCity, Northpoint City, and Ang Mo Kio Hub.

Now you don’t have to search high and low for Muslim-friendly pretzels when you can easily get them at any of the malls stated above. It seems to me that today might just be the day for a twistin’ good time.
