I once joked that I was the resident dessert content writer at SETHLUI.com, but is it really just a joke? I love talking about all things sweet, and today, I’ve got good news for all my fellow sweet-toothed dessert enthusiasts out there – Icebar will be opening their second outlet at GR.ID Mall.

You can expect handcrafted gelato in a variety of flavours, crispy waffles made fresh, and fragrant cups of coffee. If you need somewhere to chill with your friends after a long day of school or work, this is the place to hit up.

Icebar is also celebrating their new opening with free claw machine tokens for purchases above S$15. Their Single Scoop Waffle and Beer will set you back S$14.90; they’ve also got Single Scoop Waffle and Coffee for S$12.90, the cure-all for lazy afternoon slumps.

Of course, what’s Icebar without ice-cream? Their gelato goes for S$3.90 per scoop, with an additional S$1 for Premium flavours and additional S$2 for Extra Premium Flavours. Take your pick from unique flavours such as Korean Banana Milk, Kinder Bueno with Nutella, Apple Strudel, Mister Coconut, and more. I don’t know about you, but I know how I’m going to spend my next cheat day!

Icebar also sells waffles that come in a variety of flavours– they’ve got Original (S$5.50) for those who like to keep things simple, though the caffeine addict in me is eyeing the Coffee (S$6.80) flavour. You can jazz it up with a topping (S$0.50) of your choice.

For what it’s worth, I’m team gummy bears for sure.
