Dig into a Mixed Berries with Matcha Ice Cream Crepe (S$9.90++) for a burst of refreshing flavours. The crepe is cooked until golden brown, topped with fresh blueberries, strawberries, and finished off with a glorious sphere of matcha ice cream. You’ll get a mouthful of tangy berries with earthy notes of matcha, making this the perfect dessert at Poulét Bijou for those who don’t want something overly cloying after a meal.

The Vanilla French Toast (S$15.90++) is perfect for those who believe that more is more. Every serving comes with a thick slice of buttery vanilla French toast, which is topped with tart strawberries and creamy yoghurt ice cream. BRB, I’m scheduling my next cheat day right now.

Of course, it’s a must to indulge in a galette when you’re eating French fare. Lucky for all of us, Poulét Bijou has a Chicken Avocado Galette (S$14.90++) that’s healthy yet flavourful. It’s got the foolproof combination of diced fresh avocado and shredded chicken, along with cherry tomatoes, crunchy bell peppers, and an over easy egg the colour of the sun. Make sure you take a big bite of this decadent cake pastry, and you can thank me later.

For those who want something more substantial, opt for their Mixed Seafood Galette (S$16.90++), which boasts of an umami rich combination of prawn, squid, and fish cake topped with the same golden overeasy egg, before it’s drenched with spicy laksa sauce for that uniquely Singaporean flavour.
